DIGITEC Appoints Darryl Hooker As Head Of Business Development And Partnerships

DIGITEC has announced the appointment of Darryl Hooker as Head of Business Development and Partnerships. The firm said Hooker will lead its global growth strategy and strengthen relationships with banks and trading venues as demand rises for FX Swaps and NDF automation.
Hooker brings over 40 years of experience in the FX markets, with a focus on electronic trading and market structure. His previous roles include Director of NDF Sales at Fenics FX and Head of NDF Strategy at 360T. He spent more than 18 years at EBS/NEX, where he led Spot FX and Precious Metals globally and helped launch the EBS CNH platform in China.

Hooker has served on several prominent industry committees, including the Global Foreign Exchange Committee (GFXC), the Australian and Canadian FX Committees, and the ECB’s Foreign Exchange Contact Group. He also chaired the International Ruble Settlement Forum, which promoted real-time settlement infrastructure for the Russian ruble.
